Maritime museum of Achilleon

The Maritime Museum of Achilleon was founded by the Municipality of Pteleos in 2003, in order to contribute to raising people’s awareness relating the sea world and environment. The core of the collections consists of the sea shell collection of Vassiliki Stefanou-Papastergiou, while the museum keeps being enriched with more shells and other exhibits from around the world.
