Beautiful beaches in Rethymnon

There are some special beaches in the Rethymno district which we couldn’t help but mention.

Bali: The beautiful fishing village of Bali, which has become a top touristic destination, is 30km away from Rethymno. The beach is one of the most beautiful in Rethymno, with little rocks and deep blue waters, fully organized and also offers water sport, whilst remaining clean.

Panormo: The Panormo beach lies next to the Panormos village, 22km east of Rethymno. The beach is sandy, very clean, organized, also offering water sports. There are also hostels, taverns and traditional coffee places in the area, which is ideal for peaceful vacation.

Aghios Pavlos: On the south of Rethymno, 50km off Aghia Galini, the beautiful sandy beach of Aghios Pavlos stands ideal for a peaceful escape. There are very tall sand dunes along the beach and traditional taverns and hostels around the area.

Triopetra: 50km south of Rethymno lies the idyllic beach of Triopetra. The sea is crystal clear, the beach is sandy and the view breathtaking. The beach is organized and there is also a small tavern where you can enjoy a meal or coffee. If you end up there, do stay until sundown, so you can be astonish by the beach’s breathtaking sunset!
