Stavros
Stavros is the largest village of northern Ithaca, 16km off of Vathi. It was built in the 16th century and since then it has been one of the most important commercial centres of the island. In the village’s central square you will see a bust of Ulysses. The area is also interesting in a historical and archaeological way, since it is possible that Ulysses’ palace was built on this location.
