Climbing at Katarraktis (=waterfall)
A few km from the city of Arta, at the beautiful village Katarraktis (=waterfall), climbing routes have been opened. The tracks are on the spot where the water falls, so they can only be used during the months that there’s no water (middle of summer, fall, but it’s best to contact the people in charge to make sure before we go). The tracks were opened in 2008 and 2009 by Theocharopoulos Ioannis and Anastasiou Marina.
