Xylokastro
Xylokastro is a small Corinthian city by the sea. It is widely visited during the summer and it’s one of the most popular touristic destinations of the Peloponnese. The pine-forest of Pefkias and the beaches of the area are the place’s main sights. Xylokastro means “wooden castle” and is named after a wooden military barracks during the Venetocracy.
