Sarakiniko beach, Milos

On the north side of Milos Island there is a beautiful white beach that will remind you of a moonlike scenery. This sight has been created thanks to the volcano activity millions of years ago and the erosion from the northern winds and the sea. Sarakiniko is a unique spot to enjoy the sea. The beach is not organized. The name derives from the Saracen pirates that used this spot as a hideaway. It’s one of the sights worth visiting on the island of Milos.
