War museum of Nafplio

The War Museum of Nafplio was opened in 1988 and is a branch of the National War Museum of Athens. The Museum collects, preserves and presents items and writings that shed light on every aspect of Modern Greek History from the last years before the revolution until the liberation from the Germans in 1944. It also preserves the historical memory and promotion of the local history and culture.
