Treasury of Atreus
The Treasury of Atreus – or Tomb of Agamemnon – is one of the largest and more perfect Mycenaean arched tombs and definitely the most impressive one. It is dated back to the period between 1350 and 1250 BC and is considered one of the oldest samples of this kind. It is certain to have been used for the entombment of some important member of the royal family of Mycenae.
