Archaeological Museum of Nafplio

The museum’s new exhibition is divided in thematic chapters, presenting each of the civilizations developed in the area of Argolida from prehistory to the late antiquity. The renewal of the exhibition aims at the presentation of the history and culture of Argolida in an anthropocentric and social way, in an attempt to show that the exhibits are not just a collection of findings, but an overall representation of a civilization. The exhibits come with helpful tools, like texts, annotations, pictures, plastic copies and representative units as well as modern media, like screenings and electronic multimedia, so that the visitors can enjoy the collection on many different levels.
